STEPHEN J. BROWN, Principal and Founding Partner at RADIUS GROUP Commercial Real Estate, is a licensed California Real Estate Broker with experience in sales and leasing of commercial, multi family and industrial investment properties in Santa Barbara County. Steve is a graduate of U.C.S.B. with a Masters of Science Degree.
Steve has been actively involved in the marketing sales and leasing of investment properties in Santa Barbara and Ventura counties for the past 36 years. His specialty is analyzing investment properties and representing buyers and sellers in the purchase and sale of these properties. Steve’s reputation for fair and aggressive representation of his clients has earned him the respect and following of many of the established Real Estate investors in Santa Barbara. Steve has assembled a support team that includes Austin Herlihy, Senior Sales Associate, and Ingrid Biancone, Administrative Assistant. Since 2002 the Brown team has completed over $300,000,000 Million in sales and leasing transactions.
Some of Steve’s clients include the Santa Barbara Foundation, Hutton Foundation, Atlantico Corporation, Mission Linen Supply, Young Construction, West Coast Asset Management, County of Santa Barbara, Goleta Union School District, Hewlett Packard, Microsoft, Archon Group, Haywards Lumber Co., Santa Barbara Capital, H&R Development and Parton-Edwards Construction, among others.
In addition to his full-time career, Steve has been retained as an expert witness in court trials involving commercial real estate and has been a guest lecturer at Santa Barbara City College, the University of California at Santa Barbara, the Santa Barbara Board of Realtors, and moderator at the annual Radius Economic forecast.
